| Central Washington University's Tennis Club was formed the in 2006 by AnnElise Anderson, a high school graduate that wanted to play college tennis. As a freshman at Central Washington University, she founded and lead the club to a very successful first year. As the club progressed we grew and became more united. The traveling team has really become a family here at Central, and that’s why we are such a strong and succesful club, because we all help each other out. Our mission here at Central's Tennis Club is to create a community of people who love the game of tennis, and are willing to put the time and effort into helping build the foundation for this club. The Club practices year round, and welcomes tennis players of any skill level! We are here to mentor new players as well as help more advanced players progress to become stronger competitors. We compete throughout the USTA Pacific Northwest section starting in Januaury and going all the way to May. The traveling team has been very successful in our 3 short years as a Club and we plan on having many more fun years competing in the Pacific Northwest Club Tennis League! |
