| The Cornell University Club Tennis Team was formed by a senior at the time, Andrew Over, in the academic year 2004-2005. Our mission is to harbor a competitive, yet recreational and fun atmosphere. Cornell Club Tennis is a competitive and social co-ed team of tennis players who practice regularly and compete against other university club teams. Practices consist of match play and technique improvement usually three nights a week. Cornell Club Tennis has traveled from New York City to Texas to compete against other teams in the past. Our players played competitively before college (varsity high school squads and USTA events) and our club offers them a place to maintain their skills while keeping focused on school work. During the course of a year, the club team practices three days a week and competes against neighboring schools as well as in as many larger tournaments as possible. |
