| Emory Club Tennis gained its perpetual charter as recently as the Spring of 2009 and is now one of Emory's largest Club Sports programs. Our team consists of an A team and a B team. The A Team is competition oriented, holding tryouts and traveling to several matches throughout each semester. The B team is more leisure oriented, designed to serve as an outlet for those who want to keep in shape or learn the fundamentals of tennis. Mission Statement: The purpose of Emory Club Tennis first and foremost is to provide the Emory community with a way to play tennis at any level of the game. We will provide both recreational and competitive play. The club will also improve the tennis game of its members. The club will also provide a social outlet to help connect people across campus through a common interest. We intend to represent Emory to the utmost on and off campus and will bolster school spirit. |
