| The Michigan Tech Club Tennis Team was officially founded and became a registered student organization on April 11, 2009; the first tennis club meeting was officially held on 9/11/2009. We've begun holding drills to prepare ourselves to play in the Midwest Tennis On Campus League and USTA Campus Championship - Midwest in addition to creating/encouraging participation in intramural leagues and tournaments. The goal of the tennis club is to help tennis players get the opportunity to play and interact with others interested in tennis. So far we've created some great chemistry among ourselves. We are looking to advance our organization by holding large scale tournaments, and finally get the chance to play against other universities/colleges. |
