| In Fall 2007, a group of individuals wanted to start playing tennis competitively year round. In Spring 2008 we made Tennis On Campus an official Oklahoma State University Sports Club. We competed in the USTA Campus Championship - Missouri Valley with a team of six, and now we have 30+ members. This number continues to increase every day. Our goal here at OSU is to have a club that not only allows members to compete in intercollegiate tournaments, but also provides an opportunity for people who have never played before, have little experience, or just want to play for fun to meet other tennis players on campus. We have developed a network of tennis players across campus so now all members can call another member at any time and have somebody to hit with. Our other main goals right now are to increase membership and to do a lot of fundraising for tournaments and social events to get to know everyone in OSU Tennis On Campus. We plan to have an intraclub tournament once a semester as well as dual matches against other universities. We offer practices 3 times a week for all tennis players, both competitive and recreational. We are interested in competing in dual matches with other colleges.
