| The Tufts University Club Tennis Team offers Tufts students the opportunity to play competitive tennis against nearby universities within the New England Tennis On Campus Series. Entirely student run, the team consists of players of a variety of levels, many who played varsity tennis in high school but do not want the commitment of a college varsity team. Practices are twice a week, with occasional matches on weekends, depending on availability of courts and transportation. The organization was recently recognized by the Tufts Athletics Department in September 2009 as the first Tier II Club Sport! |
