| How was the team formed? - The founder/coordinator, Meghan Houk, started this team to give college-aged tennis players an opportunity to continue playing tennis after high school. M eghan and the VP, Jesse Ross, advertised the program in all the residence halls and through facebook and managed to recruit a total of 64 players for their team in the program's first year! Mission Statement - Our mission is to give all students at the University of Arizona an opportunity to continue playing the sport that they love in a fun, team environment. What we do - We organize all members into teams and they play eachother throughout a six week long season. At the end of the season there are the final playoffs for 1st through 12th place. At the end of the season there is an organized tournament done by the Randolph Tennis Center for just the team tennis players. During and after the season all the members practice once a week |
