| The Tennis Club at the University of Mary Washington was founded by Terry Grant and Kenny Barnes in the summer of 2006. With a high level of interest generated within the student body, due to both the co-captains and the help of Michelle Wood of USTA Virginia, this Division III club team began to establish itself within the USTA Mid-Atlantic section. Since its founding, the team has grown immensly from 20 students to 45, providing both a competative and non-competative atmposphere for its participants. The club still has more potential to grow and is looking forward to another competative season in the 2008-2009 academic year! |
