| The club spawned from intramural tennis events on campus in the fall of 2002 and consisted of 6 men and 2 women. In the years to follow, the roster grew exponentially and so did the club's participation in regional and national events. The team is proud to have competed at the USTA Tennis On Campus Southern Championship and the USTA National Championship in 2005, 2006 and 2007. We continue to host the Fall Brawl tournament each year and plan to for several years to come. The team competes in about 10 competitive events per year in the USTA Southern section. 2008-2009 was in memory of a fallen teammate, Ira Yarmolenko, who lost her life this past year. |
