| In the fall of 1997, Elisa Dannemiller became president of UVA club tennis and transformed it into the successful team it is today. The purpose of this club sport is to provide an organized team for undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Virginia who wish to continue to play tennis actively at a competitive level. The club allows players of various skill level and experience to unite into an organization to continue their development and competitive skills as a team. Practices are held 6 times weekly and matches with other colleges and universities are usually planned for each weekend. |
