Team History
Originally formed in 1914 the West Texas Tennis club has been on-and-off through the schools history. Restarted again in 2007 the club again brought tennis to campus after the University had decided to cut the Varsity Tennis Team from the athletic progam. Most recently the club has seen tremendous growth since its restart and has enjoyed being able to attend more tournaments then in the past.

Team Activities
Some within the club give of their time in voluteering to be a Tennis coach for the Junior Team Tennis program in Amarillo, Texas. Giving back to the Texas Panhandle in a way that translates to someone picking up tennis as their sport of choice is a great accomplishment for the West Texas A&M Tennis Club.
