The Western Carolina Club Tennis Team formed in the fall of 2007 - the first official tennis sport club at WCU. Since then, we have been established as an outlet for tennis players of all levels on our campus to stay healthy, make lasting friendships, improve our community, and best of all play the greatest sport there is...tennis!
Leading into our second year at Western, our goal has been to create opportunities for players of all abilities and interest levels in tennis. We have successfully organized open play times every week for our members, as well as in-club tournaments, social functions, and community service projects. We also recently formed a traveling team for club members interested in the more competitive side of tennis. |
