| The fall of 2009 marks the first semester for the Whitman College Club Tennis Team. It is the mission of the Whitman Club Tennis Team to provide opportunities for students who share a passion for the competition and excitement of tennis to further their involvement in tennis within the Whitman College community. This will be accomplished by spending time with others who enjoy playing tennis competitively, which includes, but is not limited to: attending scheduled club tennis practices, participating in fundraising for the club, and participating in scheduled club tennis tournaments. We are planning on doing a few tennis clinics to raise money for our club throughout the year and also planning on playing any colleges within the region interested in playing us. |
