| Founded in 1999 by Ryan Wiswesser, the University of Michigan Club Tennis Team features approximately 20 men and 20 women. Over the years, the team has squared off against a variety of opponents in over 120 matches, including regional and Canadian men's and women's varsity programs. With twice weekly practices and a full schedule of home and road matches, the team is dedicated to high-level tennis, participation in intramural sports, and team parties/social gatherings to create a fun, close-knit atmosphere within the team (we openly challenge any team in the nation to a karaoke contest). Now entering its 10th year, and having finished in the top 5 at the USTA National Campus Championship three times since 2003, the University of Michigan Club Tennis Team looks to continue to assert itself as one of the top teams in the Midwest and in the nation. |
