The first event took place in 2005 in New Jersey with only 5 teams from 3 unique schools and in 2007 hosted 9 teams from 5 unique schools! The Championship, which uses the exciting, dynamic, and co-ed World Team Tennis format, is the conclusion to the year-long USTA Eastern Club Tennis League. Sectional participants in 2008 received snacks, awards, pizza and up to two free hotel rooms per team that traveled more than 100 miles from the tournament site.
