USTA Campus Championship - Missouri Valley
The first USTA Campus Championship - Missouri Valley was held in 2005 at Kingspointe Tennis Club in Belleville, Ill.  The event started with just six teams from four schools, but has since taken off.  The 2008 USTA Campus Championship - Missouri Valley in Norman, Okla. had 16 teams from 12 universities!  The event is played using the do-ed World TeamTennis format, which ofers teams the opportunity to compete in mens and womens singles and doubles and mixed doubles.  The Missouri Valley section was proud to send five participants from the USTA Campus Championship - Missouri Valley to compete in the USTA National Campus Championship; three of which received automatic bids.

2008 USTA Campus Championship - Missouri Valley Recap
The 2008 USTA Campus Championship - Missouri Valley was held March 1-2 at the Westwood Tennis Center in Norman, Okla.  16 teams from 11 schools across the USTA Missouri Valley section showed up to compete for the title.  All teams played at least five matches, starting out in pool play and advancing to brackets.  The University of Oklahoma beat St. Louis University in the final match, and Iowa State came in third.  All three teams earned automatic bids to the USTA National Campus Championship in Cary, North Carolina.  All players received tournament t-shirts and the USTA Missouri Valley section hosted a player party on Saturday night.
