Securing A Bid:
Teams can secure a bid in the 64 team field in two ways:

The first way is to earn an automatic bid through your respective USTA Section; contact your USTA Section's Tennis On Campus Coordinator for more information specific to your USTA Section.    Most of these bids are distributed through the USTA Campus Championship - Section Events.

The second way is by securing an at-large bid. To apply for an at-large bid, teams must have pre-registered on TennisOnCampus.com from January 12 - January 14.  Only teams that pre-registered during this window are eligible for one of these at-large bids, which will be distributed using a lottery system.  The lottery will be tiered, with priority being given to teams in the following order:

1) Teams participating in their respective USTA Campus Championship - Section Event in the current academic year and who have played at least 2 prior matches
2) Teams participating in their respective USTA Campus Championship - Section Event in the current acadmeic year
3) Teams not participating in their respective USTA Campus Championship - Section Event and who have played at least 2 prior matches
4) All other teams

Teams will be notified of their 2010 USTA National Campus Championship status upon the conclusion of their respective USTA Campus Championship - Section Event.  Only one team per school will be allowed into the USTA National Campus Championship.  Other teams are encouraged to attend the Tennis On Campus Spring Invitational - West, an exciting new event on the Tennis On Campus calendar!

*HINT: To maximize your team's chances of securing a bid to the 2010 USTA National Campus Championship, play in your respective USTA Campus Championship - Section Event.
