Lone Star College-Cyfair Tennis Team Back to Search

The Lone Star College - Cy-Fair Club Tennis Team was formed in the spring of 2004. We compete in dual matches against other club tennis programs in the state of Texas. We also compete in the Texas Tennis On Campus Series and other Tennis On Campus events across the country. The spring of 2009 was our first trip to the USTA National Campus Championship in Surprise, Ariz. We won the Copper Division at the 2010 National Campus Championship.

The main focus of our tennis program is to have fun and give back to the community. We usually participate in 10-15 different community service activities each year. We were chosen as Club Tennis Team of the Year in the state of Texas for the 2008-2009 academic year based on all of our community service.2009-2010 Accomplishments:

NHMCCD Tournament: Champions

2003-2004 Accomplishments:
NHMCCD Tournament: Champions• Team has regular social gatherings
• Team donates used tennis balls to local assisted living centers and animal shelters
• Team donates racquets and string to the Liberian Tennis Federation
